I can’t stop thinking about parallels. Do you think Gojo first saw Itadori and saw Riko’s death sentence? Remember how he was too weak to save her but maybe he’s strong enough to save him? And do your think he thinks of Geto when he sees Itadori want to help the ordinary, and he remembered the Geto that would never leave him (until Geto did), you think he saw Haibara’s brightness and never ending enthusiasm.

all I can think of is how Itadori encompasses all the good that was in the people Gojo lost
